Okay. Useless note, actually. More of a confused rant than an informative thing.

WTF is up with these medications today? Or more importantly.. their commercials. I DON'T GET IT. o_o They list side-effects that are usually worse than the symptom they're trying to treat.. which is just fine. Whatever. Ya'll wanna wake up in Idaho after driving 500 miles in your sleep after taking a pill to go to sleep, that's your own damned choice. Have fun with it and bring me back a souvenir. >_>

BUT. When they state the complete OBVIOUS? For example, Astepro.. the commercial that prompted this odd little rant. They say, as if it's not already the most obvious freaking statement in the world, "Do not take Astepro if you're allergic to Astepro".

SERIOUSLY?! Holy cow. YOU DON'T SAY? And here I thought people were supposed to take it if they WERE allergic to it.

Are people honestly THAT stupid? Really? Is there someone out there allergic to this medication, who knows it, and who decided one day, 'Hey, y'know, I know I was allergic to it YESTERDAY.. but maybe today'll be different. LET'S TRY AGAIN."

(Hopefully natural selection kicked in right about there.)

Wow. Seriously? Wow. Hope your doctor is clever enough to catch that before you decide to off yourself via.. what.. asthma medication? Heart medication? I don't even know what it was supposed to treat. Doesn't matter. In short, hope your doctor is smarter than you are at that point.

Remind me to NEVER try and get a job advertising for any medical equipment/drugs/procedures/whatfreakingever. Damned if I'd want someone writing something like this about onea MY commercials.
